Majestic antique centre desk with 'biscuit' shape made in the Napoleon III era second half of the 19th century with Boulle decoration. The desk is of high artistic quality characterised by a tortoiseshell-like base with elaborate gilded bronze inlay. Finely chiselled gilded bronze decorations cover each side of this beautiful desk. The legs are smooth and elegant. The desk is in perfect condition. The gilded bronze has acquired a beautiful antique patina.
