Panthella lamp by Verner Panton for Louis Poulsen, 1970s

Sold

Panthella is a very famous historical white floor lamp, designed by Verner Panton in 1971 for Louis Poulsen. The light source of the lamp is hidden under a hemispherical lampshade in milky white acrylic and a trumpet base. The organic shape is typical of Panton's design. The lampshade projects the light downwards and the material of the lamp causes the light in the room to be diffused from the entire surface of the lampshade. This lamp is in original condition, no cracks, only minor signs of use, and includes a 205cm long cable and the Panthella lamp's typical double click switch placed on the base. Requires an E27 bulb. Keep the manufacturer's label.
