Lamp by Carlo Nason for Mazzega in Murano glass. Born in 1935 into a family of famous glassmakers from the venetian island of Murano, Carlo Nason is undoubtedly one of the most influential glass designers of the 20th century. Particularly known for the soft shapes he creates with white and colored glass, most of his prolific production is represented by floor lamps. This lamp is in fact a rare and well preserved floor lamp, designed in the 1960s for Mazzega and made up of two overlapping elements in convex glass. Preserved in excellent condition, the lamp also has the original switch and cables that work perfectly. The lamp is kept in original condition and is in perfect working order.
