Item description

We advise you to read the entire description, because with it we try to provide you with detailed technical and historical information to ensure the authenticity of our objects. For each wall lamp on a chromed brass box, a support for two opposing light points has been created in the center, excellent for perfect light distribution; on the sides of the support there are two tubes at the ends of which we find luminous crystal spheres, while on the back of the box a plate has been created for fixing to the wall; the strong chrome plating of the objects was obtained by means of a galvanic bath; the craftsman thus obtained a pure and accurate geometric and aesthetic contrast. They were made between 1964 and 1968 in an artisan laboratory in Milan inspired by a project by Gaetano Sciolari, a famous and prolific Italian designer and entrepreneur, in the Space Age style. The objects of that period are characterized by essential volumes that recall geometric shapes, which definitely break with the rationalist tradition. Our wall sconces are characterized, as we said, by a "spatial" design, typical of those fascinating times; with their essential and geometric style, they are a real piece of furniture that gives a unique atmosphere to the house. The sconces are in good condition and the chrome-plated parts show slight and irrelevant signs of time, but this guarantees their age and authenticity.Measurements width cm.15, depth cm.11, height cm.32. The electrical system works but the wiring is European and voltage compatibility in other countries should always be checked by an electrician before use. For all our shipments we use special packaging materials (wooden crates, styrofoam, etc.) to ensure maximum protection and safety of the items.
