Wooden Louis XV style game table, 18th century

Antique card table is a true masterpiece of cabinet making. Dated around the mid-18th century, in the Louis XV era, it reflects all its characteristics. Made with briarwood and inlays of fine woods such as rosewood and violet wood. The square top has a wavy profile and is supported by four elegant encabriolé legs. Equipped with small drawers at the sides for storing playing cards. This table comes from an important historic resort house in northern Italy where noble families would gather to spend game nights. The table is in perfect condition, with conservation restoration done in professional Italian workshops. However, we recommend that you take a good look in detail at all the attached photos.
