Item description
Oil on canvas from the 17th century depicting Saint Paul. The saint is holding a sword and is therefore portrayed as a warrior in the spiritual battles between Good and Evil. Later frame in carved, lacquered and gilded wood. The painting underwent restoration and was re-framed during the 20th century. Dimensions of the painting without the frame: 116 cm x 85 cm.
