The Weissenhof chair (also called MR10 and MR20) was designed in 1927 by architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (1886-1969) and designer Lilly Reich (1885-1947), with the collaboration of Sergius Rügenberg. The chair takes its cue from earlier creations, such as the cantilever chair, created by Mart Stam. The special feature of this chair is its curved structure. In the choice of materials Ludwig Mies van der Rohe opted for precious leather upholstery and the use of tubular metal. Original object dating from the early 1960s. Condition of the object excellent as in the photos, the leather shows signs of time which gives it a stunning patina, the inner paper worn by time and restored.
