Item description

Oil on canvas made in the second half of the 18th century depicting an architectural "capriccio". In particular, it is a fantasy landscape with buildings in ruins, a bridge crossing a river and some characters dressed in the manner of the 18th century peasants. Some changes have been made, especially on the margins where the canvas ends. Very thin frame made with black painted wooden slats. The painting has been restretched.
