Item description
This sideboard in grey lacquered wood was born in Greece in the 1980s. A period of great prosperity for the country, but imported from Italy in the same period of the Memphis era, perhaps a piece of Cassina. Elegant, refined and minimal, this piece of modest size consists of two identical halves, each with two doors. The doors form a V-shaped entrance in the center which are divided by three tower panels giving this piece lines vaguely reminiscent of the Art Deco movement as most elements of Milan Memphis. The sideboard is in good condition and would an excellent addition to any room in the house. Its soft egg shell tone means that it can fit almost any interior style, from minimalism to the maximalism of the Memphis group, up to a post-modernism of the nineties. Also you could add a glass top creating a shelf below and another surface on top. Good vintage condition, wear consistent with age and use. Some signs of discoloration on the upper surface due to fading of the sun, but not visible on the photos. Some small chips and scratches, but these are not very noticeable. Some signs of wear inside the cabinet itself, but no important paint marks or damage throughout the piece.
