Item description
French Napoleon III sideboard from the second half of the 19th century in mahogany feather with a white statuary marble top. The front features two hinged doors profiled by gilt bronze garnishes. The under-top band features two drawers with a profiled vent in the center, also in bronze. Embellishing the two cantons are two skillfully chiseled gilt bronze garnishes representing busts of women. Internally there are two adjustable shelves through a ladder system ,while the key and lock are original to the period. Condition: Unrestored,but in excellent condition.
