Item description
Console table produced by De Padova based on a design by Vico Magistretti. In solid cherry wood the structural parts and the legs, in cherry veneered honeycomb wood the top. The line of the legs mimics a baseball bat, like the one wielded by 'Babe' to whom the table is explicitly dedicated. In good condition, some traces of use on the top that do not deteriorate the veneer well protected by the wax treatment and some minimal discolouration on the legs. The piece is original, late 1980s and marked inside one of the two folding tops by the manufacturer.
