Rare pair of Safari leather armchairs and matching coffee table. Designed in the 1960s by Karl Heinz Bergmiller for Escriba Furniture Brazil. A copy of which is held at The Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) Thick hide leather in dark brown colour, set on a Brazilian hardwood frame. Accompanied by a matching metamorphic coffee table designed for the wooden slats to be removable. Both table and chairs are in excellent condition. The table shows some naturally occurring imperfections to the wood (all of which adds to its charm). The leather shows some rich patina but no rips or tear. Chairs measure Full height from the back- 76cm Width- 66.5cm Depth- 59cm Table measures 38cm high x 58cm deep x 66cm wide
