Large pyrogranite floor vase with floral decoration from the porcelain manufactory of Zsolnay (Pécs, Hungary). In very good condition. Pyrogranite refers to a type of ornamental ceramic developed by Zsolnay and put into production in 1886. Fired at high temperature, this durable material remains resistant to acids and frost, making it suitable for use in roof tiles, indoor and outdoor decorative ceramics and fireplaces. Hand-painted. Signed by the artist Gazder.
