Item description

Feal production bookcase composed of modular shelving elements that attach to the wall. Each module is composed of two aluminium uprights with a rack system that allows the shelves to slide and adjust. The brass details and the mahogany and teak finish of the shelves embellish the furniture and add value to the effective functionality. Feal, an acronym for Fonderie Elettriche Alluminio e Leghe, is a Milanese company that in the 1950s and 1960s realised urban and furniture projects, also producing the materials used for construction. Feal in those years entrusted the design of its furniture to the great designer Marco Zanuso. Feal bookcases are published in Domus issue 39 in 1956, the year in which they were designed.
