Armchair in tubular iron, wood and skai, 1950s

This beautiful and rare vintage armchair was built in the 1950s in Italy. The frame is made of black tubular iron, to which the visible beech wood sides are anchored. The upholstered seat and back are covered in English green coloured skai. The spiked legs with brass feet give it a touch of absolute elegance. Left in its original state, except for cleaning and a treatment with specific products for the wooden parts, its condition is excellent; the only defect: a slight tear on one armrest, as highlighted in one of the photos, which has however been repaired to prevent the damage from increasing over time. The shipping cost is for the Italian peninsular territory only. For the islands and for foreign countries the cost will be calculated on request.
