Item description

French still life from the second half of the 19th century. Oil painting on canvas depicting still life with flowers, a view of a classical garden with putti sculptures in the background. In the centre of the composition is a splendid bouquet of flowers with a pretty cat in the lower part (see photo). Painting of good luminosity characterised by vivid colours, signed at lower right (see photo), signature under study. Carved and gilded wood and plaster frame (bronze tinting) of great decoration, with some signs of time (see photo). Painting that has undergone conservative restoration with colour restoration in places and patches on the back (see photo), overall in good condition. Light painting H 80 x W 63 cm.
