Item description

Gorgeous vintage Danish mid-century desk with flaps and three drawers, dating to the 1950s. This AT-305 model was designed in 1955 by famed and prolific mid-century designer Hans J. Wegner and hallmarked by Andreas Tuck. The imprint of the manufacturer is preserved. The desk has an oak base with three drawers and a teak top. The right drawer can be locked with a key, which is included. The left drawer features a pen tray, shown in the pictures. Two side shelves, each 48 cm wide, allow the top to be extended up to 231 cm. Overall, fantastic vintage condition with some small traces of use related to age and use. The right drawer has brown-black discoloration mostly from ink spilling back in the days when ink was really used. The top has been refreshed with Danish oil and has a nice grain. Dimensions of the desk with the doors closed: H: 72 / W: 135 / D: 76 cm. Dimensions of table unfolded: H: 72/W: 231/D: 76cm. Flaps: 48 cm wide. Height at apron: 59cm. Drawer height: 5.5cm.
