Louis XVI solid oak secrétaire, made in England at the end of the 18th century (about 1770-90). Consisting of a series of drawers in the lower part, a flap concealing writing desk with small drawers, open compartments and secret compartment and a riser with a pair of hinged doors; the inner upper part is also made up of small drawers and open compartments.
