Emilian walnut chest of drawers, mid-18th century
SILVER Seller in Cremona, Italia
Emilian chest of drawers from the mid-1700s entirely built in walnut wood. The slightly shaped front is punctuated by four large drawers centered by three asymmetric reserves defined by gouges with volute motifs. The sides have shaped brushstrokes outlined by moldings carved in the solid wood. The lower molding follows a mixtilinear profile that joins the curved line of the feet. The ring handles and the bushings of the keys placed on the drawers are in contemporary bronze with the era of the furniture. The chest of drawers is in an excellent state of conservation, in order and serviced in our restoration laboratory.
