Item description
Tokyo hanging lamp by Roberto Pamio and Renato Toso for Leucos, 1960s-70s. Triple-layered transparent glass light diffuser with white opaline edge and top. Roberto Pamio is a designer, architect and artist; he has collaborated with Leucos for a long time. Leucos has been in the lighting business for more than fifty years and has worked with top designers, architects and artists since the 1960s. Founded in 1962 in Scorzé (Venice), it was later relocated to nearby Salzano. The combination of light and design defines the identity of Leucos, in the infinite forms allowed by the diversity of materials and the evolution of production techniques; in particular, the productions of the 1960s and 1970s saw the company linked to the best Murano artisans in glass working and blowing, including the Toso brothers. In fact, Renato and Giusto Toso designed many of the most important lamps produced in those years by the company.
