Louis XIV solid walnut wardrobe, late 17th century

Louis XIV solid walnut wardrobe, late 17th century. The line is typical of the period, which indeed wanted this type of imposing furniture made of solid walnut wood. The wardrobe has doors and sides with decorative panels with a geometric pattern. Internally it has a rod for hanging clothes; originally there were shelves but they have been lost (shelves can be added if the customer wishes). It has nailing and hardware from the 17th century. The "cappello" has a secret compartment: in fact, the upper part lifts up and conceals a space in which to store other items. Perfect wood condition; back is non-coeval. (Seller provides professional packaging - insured shipping with couriers - delivery by appointment - street level only, no porterage to floors. The wardrobe will be shipped disassembled, assembly not included in delivery)
