Pernilla armchair with footstool by Bruno Mathsson for Dux, made in Sweden in the 1960s. It is an improved version of the original model which dates back to 1944. The armchair has a minimalistic and organic design with a curved seat and backrest in combination with a practical footstool. Both are made of curved beech plywood, canvas and new natural cotton woven upholstery in shades of beige, orange and brown. Original Dux lining preserved. Wood and canvas in original condition with slight traces of use. The armchair is 99 cm high, 85 cm wide and 90 cm deep; the seat is 27 cm high. The footstool is 41 cm high, 62 cm wide and 73 cm deep.
