Item description

Large round dining room table in travertine with a beautiful grain and a helicoidal foot. This table comes directly from the designer Claude Berraldacci, it was designed in the 1990s. The brand was called 'La Pierre Haute Couture'. The stone is the purest travertine in existence, it comes from the quarry in Tivoli, near Rome, from which the Vatican buildings, the Colosseum and the Trevi fountain were extracted. Travertine from this region is very pure, with few veins and a very light colour. The stone is processed with a great deal of know-how, resulting in a 'softened travertine': natural and matt appearance, soft to the touch. This processing brings out the mineral texture and unique colour.
