Double-bodied corner cabinet from the second half of the 19th century, from southern Italy. Walnut structure, shaped marble top (original) and pair of mirrors (original). Consisting of a lower element with single door and an upper one with mirrors.
Several stylistic elements characterize it: in the lower part, the side columns, the peculiar curved shape of the cabinet and the geometric inlays that contrast with the dark background of the wood; in the upper part, a mirror that culminates in a central geometric cymatium enclosed by curvilinear elements.
The cabinet has only been polished and is in excellent condition.
The lower body is 107 cm high, 77 cm wide and 54 cm deep. The upper one is 92 cm high, 77 cm wide and 54 cm deep.
