Six 'Lierna' model chairs designed by Achille Castiglioni for Cassina in 1959, produced by Gavina after 1969. The Lierna chair, named in homage to the town on Lake Como, has a lacquered solid wood frame and upholstered seat covered in leather or fabric and is one of the historic pieces of Italian design. Although made of solid wood, the chair is very light. The pieces on offer, produced by Gavina, in cream-coloured leather and matt black lacquered frame, are in excellent condition as can be seen from the attached photos, slight signs of time on the leather and frame.
