Italian coffee table from the mid-20th century. Furniture supported by a wooden frame with a round base with eight columns and a small central shelf in chestnut and walnut wood. Top of great quality and charm consisting of numerous onyx elements held together by resin and central marble chessboard (see photo). Top has undergone restoration (see photo white line) now solid and in good condition. A hard-to-find coffee table ideal for inclusion in a living room or study, for antique dealers and interior decorators. Top fixed with base by a central metal pin visible in the centre of the chessboard (see photo). Small table produced by Italian craftsman by recovering wooden elements and top to create a model of furniture that brings together different styles. Cabinet shows some signs of time, structurally sound and in good state of preservation.
