Soriana armchair with pouf by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Cassina, 1970s. The original chocolate-colored leather upholstery and padding show the armchair's characteristic round, voluminous shape. The concept behind the Soriana series is to express a comfortable design in which a bundle of fabric or leather is held together by chrome-plated metal clamps. The armchair has casters on the front side, the pouf on all four sides. This series won the Compasso d'Oro Award in 1970. Seat height: 37 cm.
