Danish teak desk by Svend Aage Madsen for HP Hansen, 1960s

























An exclusive mid-century modern desk designed by Svend Madsen and produced by HP Hansen in Denmark in the 1960s. This elegant desk features an arched top with beautiful teak wood grain and a raised lip edge. The desk has four drawers on each side with recessed handles made of solid teak, while the back features a large shelf for books and a locked cabinet. The front drawers and the back cabinet are equipped with a working lock. A key that fits all locks is included. The desk rests on four solid teak wood legs that support the top, giving the piece a floating appearance. The desk is in fantastic vintage condition with slight traces of use. Fully inspected and refurbished with Danish oil. The drawers work flawlessly.
