Item description

Napoleon III coffee table made in France in the late 19th century. Two-shelf structure veneered in exotic wood and rosewood marquetterie. Upper shelf equipped with removable glass tray and connected to the lower one by wavy uprights. Entirely decorated with finely chiseled gilt bronze, used to make the edge of the tops, handles and classical-style decorations depicting cornucopias, leaf and floral elements, ribbons and masks. Also in gilt bronze are the goat-shaped tips. Restored.
