Item description
Four Dialogo model chairs designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for B&B Italia in 1973. This set dates back to one of the first models produced in 1973 by B&B Italia, designed by the two great Veneto architects Afra and Tobia Scarpa. After some experimentation by the two architects and designers, the Dialogo was put into production in early 1973. This set of four beautiful and rare Dialogo chairs, with armrests, was a homage to Walter Gropius' Bahaus in Waimar. The Dialogo has a hollow curved tube frame with a 20 mm polished chrome finish and a polished black polycarbonate shell. They are 50 years old and in an excellent state of preservation. The steel frame, chrome and polycarbonate shell are OK. There are only normal scratches on the seat shell from normal use, otherwise they are in excellent structural and aesthetic condition. Embossed B&B Italia trademark. The model was produced from 1970 to 1980. Still beautiful after half a century. Measurements H 80 cm, W 51 cm, D 51 cm.
