Superb and very rare sideboard designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Molteni, belonging to the "Mou" series. The cabinet, made in Italy at the end of the 1970s, is made of black mirror lacquered wood on the front and back with black leather handles. It has two drawers in the centre with an open compartment and two doors on each side with a very large internal shelf. The piece of furniture is very rare because it had a high selling price at the time, especially in the black lacquered finish and in this three-module version to great effect, which is why only a few examples were produced by Molteni. The condition of the object is excellent, as the photographs show, with only a few small signs of ageing visible only against the light.
