French console table from the second half of the 20th century. Wooden and plaster console table in Louis XV style, carved, lacquered and gilded (bronze tint) of beautiful line and pleasant decoration. Original marble top, of considerable weight, large size and good service. Top composed of two marble slabs glued one on top of the other (see photo). Console with two solid legs with central bowl (see photo), to be fixed (with dowels) to the wall for safety and perfect stability. Ideal furniture for a living room or study, of great visual impact, for antique dealers and interior decorators. Console shows some small signs of time, structurally sound, overall in good state of preservation.
