Suitcase with the trademark 'Genuine guaranteed vulcanised fibre', patented by the firm Cartiere Prealpine Spa Milan. Very good quality product, robust and hard-wearing, with patinated finish similar to antique leather, eight reinforcing corners, snap fastener, checked cloth interior. Excellent overall condition, undamaged surfaces with slight stains, slight waviness, small lines, a few cracked corners; closing springs and hinges with oxidation patina but perfectly functional. Interior in good condition, fabric well preserved, minor creasing, fabric straps intact and functional. 1940s.
