Item description

The Svane lounger or sofa was designed by Ingmar Relling for Ekornes and produced in the 1960s-70s. It has the function of sleeping while unfolding. It has a rest function when fully opened and also has a compartment for sheets and blankets (here only in one of the beds). The stage moves smoothly up and down and has a specific stop point. The solid teak structure combined with the natural wool upholstery in light ash tone gives the impression of simplicity and elegance at the same time, a classic of modern Scandinavian design. Perfect for any mid century modern living room, office or lounge.
