Item description

Genoese bedside table with the shape known as "goblet", first half of the 19th century. Made of carved walnut with original recessed marble top (see photo). Resting on a square base with wooden feet, stem and podded decoration (see photo). Fitted with two doors that provide a fairly large inner compartment with fixed shelf plus baseboard top (see photo). Rare cabinet of great elegance and refinement, for antique dealers and interior decorators. It shows several signs of time and old restoration work (see photo). Beautiful patina. In need of restoration.
