Pair of Capodimonte porcelain Caramogi sculptures, early 20th century
SILVER Seller in Milano, Italy
Pair of Capodimonte porcelain "Caramogi" made between the late 19th century and the early 20th century. These are very expressive caricature figures of 18th-century tradition; in this case the subjects are "the old woman" and "the notary". Both have on the bottom the manufactory mark with the crowned "N" of the Regia Manifattura di Napoli in blue enamel. Rare.
