Item description

White 'goblet' lamp made by Seguso, Scavo glass collection: a type of ornamental glass with a rough surface and a matt finish imitating antique glass, similar to that of scavo glass. The effect is obtained by sprinkling the surface of the glowing glass, after modelling it with a mixture of high melting oxides and low melting salts. The outside is thus opaque, while the inside is shiny.
