Danish rosewood extending round table by Kai Kristiansen, 1960s

Sold

Classic vintage Danish rosewood round dining table designed by Kai Kristiansen in the 1960s. The table's small diameter of 111.5 cm makes it ideal for smaller rooms and, with two additional leaves, it can seat 8-10 people. Thanks to the two extension leaves, each 48.5 cm wide (one with apron), the table can be extended to 208.5 cm. The beautiful and rich wood grains (different in those of the extensions, as in the small Danish houses of the 1950s and 1960s they were absolutely additional) and the magnificent joinery will enrich any dining area with the elegance of mid-century Danish design. The slender solid rosewood legs are detachable for convenient transportation.
