Item description
Polychrome ceramic bust of the blindfolded goddess, synonymous with luck, produced by Ceramica Artistica Punziano of Naples in the 1950s. In original condition with normal marks on the glaze, marked on the bottom and labelled with the original label of the Roman shop that sold it. This ceramic bust is a splendid example of the artistic style and design trends prevalent at the time. The bust is made of high-quality ceramics, a popular material for mid-century modern art. Pottery was appreciated for its versatility, which allowed artists to experiment with various shapes, textures and glazes. In this case, the bust is sculpted, with special attention paid to the details and proportions of the goddess' face and features. The blindfolded Goddess of Naples is a symbolic representation of luck. It is a medium-sized sculpture, suitable for display on a table or mantelpiece. Its compact dimensions allow for easy integration into various design environments, whether in a living room, study or office.
