Danish teak dresser with three drawers and sculptural handles, 1960s

Small vintage Danish teak chest of drawers with three drawers and solid teak sculptural handles, made by a Danish manufacturer in the 1960s. It was most likely designed as an entrance chest of drawers, but could also be used as a side table or bedside table. The slightly protruding edges add versatility to the piece, making it perfect for a hallway or walk-in wardrobe combined with a Danish mirror from the Middle Ages. The rich grain of the teak veneer, the diligent selection of the front panel and the solid teak details demonstrate the craftsmanship of Danish Mid Century craftsmanship. The tapered solid teak legs emphasise the Scandinavian origin and are removable for convenient transportation. The dresser has been checked by our team. We made sure that the drawers are clean and function properly. On many occasions, we have to sand down the most used parts (if they are heavily scratched). Here we rejuvenate the wood with layers of Danish oil. We leave small signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetics and only confirm originality. We try to restore it to its best appearance, always considering that it is 60 years old. Overall, in excellent vintage condition, with clean and fully functional drawers.
