Large arched floor lamp with handmade lampshade, designed in the 1950s or 1960s in Italy. The exquisite rarity of this item lies in the use of organically bent dark oak wood; this aesthetic finds affinity with renowned designers such as Carlo Mollino, Gio Ponti, Ico Parisi, Max Ingrand and Angelo Lelii, who have also embraced the philosophy of organic design. The lampshade is made of cotton strips wrapped around a metal structure; it was handmade based on the original one. The lamp has undergone a complete renovation, including rewiring for better operation, a new switch, etc. The wood has been rejuvenated and polished with multiple coats of Danish oil, achieving a delicate satin sheen.
