Pair of Danish teak bedside tables, 1970s

Sold

Pair of teak bedside tables made in Denmark in the late 1970s - early 1980s. Each features an open compartment and a drawer with a sculptural solid teak handle. They are made of teak veneer with solid wood details, such as the handles and tapered legs, which enhance the Scandinavian origin. The legs are detachable for more convenient carrying. The insides of the drawers have been replaced with new ones, probably by the previous owner; the material chosen to make them harks back to current times but the external construction clearly dates back to the 70s. The bedside tables have been checked: we made sure that they are stable and that the drawers work without problems; the wood has been cleaned and finished with layers of Danish oil. We leave small signs of use that do not ruin the aesthetics of the furniture and only confirm its originality. Overall they are in fantastic original condition with minor traces of use. Drawer height: 10 cm.
