Oil painting on masonite made by Turin-based painter Pietro Augusto Cassina (1913-1999) in the 1970s depicting a female portrait. The young woman has an innocent, carefree face, her long hair furrowed by a blue headband, a bouquet of cut flowers clutched in her hands. A vibrant work that traces the Impressionist styles of an artist regarded by critics as "outside the box of the times". Hand-signed painting by the artist. Unframed.
