Wool carpet designed in 1990 by Claude Picasso, son of Pablo Picasso, and produced by the Danish brand Rapsel. Hand knotted in a vibrant shade of red, it measures approximately 160 x 100 cm and will suit most rooms. A series of colored strings are attached to the sides of the cut and can be arranged in many different ways on or beyond the carpet surface. It is preserved in excellent condition, not faded or creased, and has probably spent most of its life in storage; hence the marks visible in the three-quarter photos, but completely disappeared in the primary image, taken at a later time. It is extremely rare as it was made in a limited edition of only 50 pieces. It can also be hung on the wall.
