Pair of Dolcenotte bedside tables designed by Luca Meda for Molteni. "Simplicity is not good in itself, but there is certainly a simplicity that comes from the work of generations". Luca Meda's aphorism is well suited to his Dolcenotte design, which is part of that chapter in the history of the Italian company to which Meda contributed by introducing the culture of design into the choices of the Molteni Group. Molteni is one of the most important companies in our industrial panorama with which Meda collaborated from the late 1970s after training at the Brera School of Art in Milan and later at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Ulm. The Dolcenotte bedside tables are made of walnut wood and consist of two drawers with a handle recessed in the solid front; the top is made of silver-etched glass. They show no signs of wear or defects.
