Industrial wall light by Jean-Louis Domecq for Jieldé, 1940s
SILVER Seller in Roma, Italy
The French lighting company Jieldé was born from an idea of the foreman of the Lyon industrial workshop Jean Louis Domecq (1920-1983). Towards the end of the 1940s Domecq was looking for robust and adjustable light sources to equip the workstations of his structure. Frustrated with the options available, he decided to design his own device with a multi-joint articulating arm built into a super-rugged construction. Lamp in good condition. Bulb not supplied in the sale. Dimensions height 39 cm, base 9 cm, lampshade circumference 16 cm. The lampshade can rotate in all directions.
