Item description
Designed in 1954 by the famous French master glassmaker and decorator Max Ingrand, the lamp was originally called 1853 and subsequently Fontana, in homage to the company of which the master was artistic director for a decade. For design enthusiasts and connoisseurs of the brand's history, 1853 still remains a sort of nickname today. The first symbol of a timeless design object, still a best seller and timeless icon, Fontana represents the lampshade par excellence. The peculiarity of Fontana is the multiple lighting: both the base and the lampshade contain one or more light sources. A very precious lamp in white satin blown glass. In excellent condition, double switch with E27 bulbs in the upper part, two E14 bulbs in the lower part. Table lamp providing diffused light with double non-dimmable switch. Bulbs supplied in the sale.
