Item description

Beautiful, full-bodied Murano submerged glass ashtray. This is the decorative technique that, starting from a blown or solid glass, enables several superimposed layers of different colours to be obtained with a striking coloured effect. The glass attached to a rod is immersed in crucibles containing differently coloured glass. Purchased in Murano in 1975. Very good condition, shows small signs of time, small almost invisible scratches.
