Item description

Luster green glazed ceramic sculpture by Giordano Tronconi depicting a seated boy, 1950s. Signed "Tronconi" and numbered on the foot. Important early work by Tronconi. Ceramicist Giordano Tronconi was born in Faenza in 1932 and graduated from the city's Royal School of Ceramics, a student of Francesco Nonni. Since the early 1950s he has been active, with the title of decorator, at the C.A.C.F in Faenza. Excellent overall condition with no defects.
