Three-light chandelier attributed to Ercole Barovier for Barovier & Toso, 1940s

Three-light Murano glass and brass chandelier attributable to Ercole Barovier for Barovier & Toso, 1940s. Excellent workmanship characterizes this chandelier: the arms are coiled in the shape of a snail, terminating in cups with "Rigadin" effect decoration that allows a wide diffusion of light. The chandelier was produced between the late 1940s and the early 1950s, handcrafted in the ancient furnaces of the Barovier family, one of the world's longest-running glass companies; the Barovier family's entrepreneurial activity began in the mid-13th century. The chandelier is in excellent condition both aesthetically and functionally, with no cracks.
